You know those days that in the moment you think, “I don’t want this day to end”? That was Mackenzie & Connor’s wedding day at The White Barn at Padgett Place! It was truly the sweetest day ever! From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement in the air. Mackenzie and Connor have the sweetest love for one another and the total focus of their day was love!
The White Barn at Padgett Place is the essence of excellence and class! Located thirty minutes from Huntsville, in Lacey Springs, Alabama, the White Barn provides couples with a peaceful and luxurious setting for their wedding day. From the exquisite bride and groom suite to the jaw-dropping floral chandelier in the main space, every detail of this venue is done with excellence. Jana, the owner of the venue, is absolutely amazing. She and her team went the extra mile to make this wedding day the absolute best! You can feel love when you walk inside.
The red and gold decor contributed to the overall romantic atmosphere of the barn. It was stunning decor for this February wedding! With twinkle lights that line the walls and red rose centerpieces, it felt like a scene from “Beauty and the Beast.”
Months before her wedding, Mackenzie shared with me the moment she was most excited for: Connor seeing her for the first time as she walked down the aisle. The anticipation and excitement was so worth. As soon as the curtains opened and Connor saw his bride for the first time, the expression of pure joy on both their faces was priceless. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
One of my favorite moments of Mackenzie and Connor’s ceremony was when they invited their guests to worship and pray with them. Everyone sang “Holy Spirit” and prayed over this sweet couple. My heart melted. It was such a sweet moment to witness!
Glowy sunset photos? Check!
We were blessed with such a gorgeous Alabama sunset! Mackenzie told me she wanted photos “that authentically captured their love,” and, together, we turned that vision into reality! One of my favorite spots on property at Padgett Place is the charming little gazebo. It sits on the bank of the lake and is the cutest backdrop for photos.
This day was truly the best! I could not wait to drive home, upload these photos, and edit their sneak peeks. After I delivered their final wedding gallery Mackenzie wrote the sweetest five star review:
“Miranda shot our wedding on 2-1-2025, we had the best experience possible, two months before she had the schedule created so we had a solid itinerary to help the day go as smoothly as possible. She was so sweet, so kind, popping in with sweet reminders leading up to the wedding! Her work is beautiful, she is so talented and captures so many sweet moments. The quality is impeccable for her pricing, if you want someone who is sweet, caring, encouraging, and down to earth she is YOUR GIRL! It’s so easy to be comfortable with her, we will be using her services as much as we can in the future. ❤️”
I truly have the sweetest couples!!
