This cutie couple session at Quail Creek Resort was a picnic date night dream!🧺✨🍇 Doesn’t it look like Abby and Tucker are straight out of a Disney movie? It’s giving Tangled vibes. I met Abby & Tucker on a gorgeous October evening at Quail Creek Resort and Golf in Hartselle. Located about 45 minutes from Huntsville, Quail Creek Resort and Golf offers an event space for couples to host their wedding. With a charming wedding chapel and beautiful reception space, weddings here are so stunning!
I had been wanting to do a picnic inspired shoot for a while and I knew this willow tree at Quail Creek would be the perfect spot. It was so exciting seeing this idea come to life. We had the most perfect Fall weather and Abby and Tucker were so sweet and fun to work with!
Golden Hour at Quail Creek Resort
The shoot took place about an hour before sundown so we could have the glowy light. This is referred to as the “Golden Hour.” This hour is appropriately named because the most gorgeous images are captured when the sun is setting! With a cute little charcuterie board, fresh cut flowers, La Croix waters, we had such a cute picnic setup. This was one of those sessions where I could not wait to drive home, upload these images, and start editing!!
I also had the joy of working with content creator Amanda Glombowski who is the owner of The Gemma Social. She captured beautiful behind the scenes footage of this day. (BTW if you are a bride looking for a content creator for your wedding day, Amanda is your girl!)
