This baby announcement session at Ditto Landing was the sweetest and most joy session ever! đź’› Marissa & James are truly the sweetest! From the moment we got out of the car and greeted each other you could feel their excitement! Ahhhhh there was so much joy in the air as we shot these precious baby announcement photos!
In the planning stages for this shoot, Marissa shared with me her Pinterest board full of dreamy inspiration: whimsical florals, romanic picnic vibes, and glowing golden hour photos. She suggested we do the session at Ditto Landing in Whitesburg, – which is about twenty minutes outside of Huntsville. This was the perfect location and it brought the vision of Marissa’s Pinterest board to life!
Marissa brought with her tulips and baby’s breath from Traders Joes so that we could create this cute picnic set up. It was darling! During our session, I showed Marissa and James the back of my camera so they could see their photos. We all agreed that these photos were the Pinterest board!!
Golden Hour at Ditto Landing
You know the song “Just a Cloud Away” by Pharrell Williams? Hahaha well that was our session! The day of this shoot it was calling for strong thunderstorms, hail, and even tornados!!!! We debated rescheduling but just hours before the session, the weather app shifted! We decided to go for it! And wow… it paid off. The clouds just rolled away-way-way-way-way! 🎶 We were blessed with a beautiful evening and a glowy sunset over the water! It was perfect!
